At the beginning of the project, many of the original buildings were still standing but in need of renovation. Taking care to preserve the historic integrity of each structure, contractors painted walls, repaired roofs, replaced siding, doors, and windows, installed or repaired electrical wiring, made ADA-compliant upgrades, and repaired fencing. Volunteer scouts took on the task of recreating some of the outbuildings. Read more about our upgrades and renovations in the stories on this page.
